What does it mean for the human to float like a butterfly? You don't really see a person floating in the air. Float like a butterfly is from Laila Ali's father's quote. Once I saw one of Laila's opponents hitting her in the face, and Laila turned her head like it was nothing. To me, Laila was being the butterfly just floating around right at that particular moment or else she would have been stinging like a bee at that moment. I have also seen Laila duck every now and then. If she's ducking your punches, and if you miss her, I consider that as Laila floating.
